We are delighted to welcome Michael Williams to the Envance Team. Michael joins us as Senior GIS consultant and will helping us further develop our spatial services, including biodiversity net gain optimisation, land and habitat mapping, remote sensing, natural capital mapping and outcomes reporting (to list a few).
Michael is a highly experienced Remote Sensing and GIS expert and has previously contributed to ESA (European Space Agency) projects, including daily monitoring of CRYOSAT data products, which are crucial for understanding changes in polar ice thickness and global sea level rise.
His experience in geospatial development includes crafting GIS programs, data manipulation and processing tasks, and pioneering innovative GIS solutions and can help address environmental challenges and opportunities at a range of spatial scales.
