We are delighted to welcome Paul Wolstenholme to the Envance Team. Paul is an experienced consultant with a background in ecology, environmental data analysis and developing bespoke digital solutions. His experience spans a range of infrastructure and development sectors. He has helped to develop innovative digital systems for a range of infrastructure operators including Network Rail and Keolis Amey.
Paul has a keen interest in a wide range of environmental disciplines and metrics in addition to his ecological skills. Paul has developed his knowledge and ability in data management, analysis and visualisation and is proficient in data manipulation utilising programming languages such as R and Python. He has also developed a strong specialism in spatial data analysis using GIS, with a particular focus on species distribution and landscape connectivity modelling and has developed bespoke plug-ins allowing in-field survey data analysis of various metrics including calculations for GCN habitat suitability index (HSI) and Biodiversity Net Gain condition assessment scores.
Paul joins us as an Environmental Consultant and will be helping us to deliver our existing workload and build our digital capability.
